Use your home dashboard in Forwood One

Written by Aurora

Overview

The Dashboard is the default home after sign-in. It brings together metrics, quick actions, my actions, and recent activity panels your role can see. You can customise which metrics and quick actions appear, then save for your user in the current tenant when the product offers Customise.

Who can use this

All signed-in users land here first. Managers scan KPIs and team signals. Administrators use quick links to common tasks. Panels depend on role-based access; you only see what the product returns for your account.

Getting started

After login you arrive on the home Dashboard. Scroll each panel and use links or buttons to open the related module. If you do not see data, confirm you

selected the right tenant or organisation context when your app requires it.

Understand the layout

Typical regions include key metrics, quick actions, my actions, and recent activities. Labels and order can vary by tenant and role. Use Customise when you need to show or hide tiles, then Save or Cancel according to the buttons shown.

Customise your dashboard

Open Customise when it appears in the header or toolbar. Toggle panels on or off. Save to keep preferences for you in this tenant. Your organisation may reset defaults after major releases; if panels look different after an update, review Customise again.

Best practices

Hide tiles you never use so the home page stays scannable. Open My actions when you need a focused queue. Use quick actions for frequent tasks your administrator enabled.

Troubleshooting

Why are some panels empty?
Your role may not include that metric, or tenant context may be incomplete. Ask your administrator if data should appear.

Why can I not customise?
The control may be off for your role or tenant. Read any message on screen.

Why did my layout reset?
A product update or tenant change can refresh defaults. Open Customise and Save again.
