Control email notification delivery in Forwood One

Written by Aurora

Overview

Email notifications keep you informed about assignments, due dates, comments, verifications, inspections, and other events your tenant supports. You choose which types use the Email channel in Notification Settings. The platform sends mail when an event fires, Email is on for that type, and your account has a valid address. Your organisation configures the underlying email service; this article covers what you control in the app.

Who can use this

All users tune their own preferences. Managers may coach teams to enable high-signal types. You open settings from the Notifications area in the product.

Getting started

Open the bell in the header, choose See all to reach the Notifications page, then open Settings (or use the Notification Settings entry your UI shows). You see Master Controls for Push and Email across all types, plus per-type toggles grouped by category such as ACTIONS, EVENTS, INSPECTIONS, and VERIFICATIONS.

Control delivery

Turn Email on or off globally with Master Controls, then refine each type. Changes typically save automatically when your build behaves that way. Read the short confirmation your product shows. You do not compose free-form outbound mail here; the system sends structured notifications.

What triggers email

Examples from typical tenants include action assigned or updated, due soon or overdue, verification or inspection events, and account invites. Only types you enable and that your tenant actually raises will generate email.

Best practices

Enable Email for types you must not miss. Turn off noisy types if Push is enough. Keep your profile email address current.

Troubleshooting

Why am I not receiving email?
Email may be off for that type, master Email may be off, or your organisation’s mail delivery may block messages. Check Notification Settings first, then ask your administrator.

Why do I see no Settings tab?
You may lack access to notifications settings. Ask your administrator.

Why did a toggle revert?
A policy or tenant reset may apply. Confirm with your administrator.
