Maintain the risk and control library in Forwood One

Written by Aurora

Overview

Risk & Control Library is a central catalogue of risks and controls your organisation reuses in checklists and forms. You can switch between Risks and Controls tabs, see summary stats, search and filter, add or edit entries, link controls to risks, and use import or export with CSV when the buttons appear.

Who can use this

Content administrators own the catalogue. Safety managers check coverage. Form and checklist authors rely on linked items in their questions. You need access on Content Management and an active tenant context.

Getting started

Open Settings, then Content management, then Risk & Control Library as your navigation labels show. Review the stats row, pick Risks or Controls, then use Add risk or Add control when you need new entries.

Understand the layout

The page shows tabs, stats cards such as total risks, total controls, coverage, and uncontrolled risks, filters, a list or cards toggle, and toolbar actions including Download template, Import, and Export when enabled.

Work with risks and controls

Create or edit a risk with name, description, category, criticality, and company or location assignments your form asks for. Create or edit a control with type and hierarchy fields the UI exposes. Use link controls on a risk to attach mitigations. Your organisation may restrict who can delete.

Import and export

Use Download template before first import when available. Import from CSV and Export to CSV follow the dialogs the product shows. If import fails, read validation messages and ask your administrator about file format.

Best practices

Keep names short and unique. Link every critical risk to at least one control when your process expects it. Export a backup before bulk changes.

Troubleshooting

Why can I not open the library?
You may lack Content Management access. Ask your administrator.

Why is import blocked?
The file may not match the template, or you may lack permission. Read the error text.

Why do I not see a control on a risk?
Filters may hide it, or the link was never saved. Open link controls again.
