Read and manage in-app notifications in Forwood One

Written by Aurora

Overview

Notifications gives you a chronological list of system messages about actions, verifications, inspections, events, and other types your tenant enables. You can mark items read or unread, delete them, filter by category or date, and open related records. The bell in the header shows a quick list and a path to the full page.

Who can use this

All users with access on Notifications see their own feed. Managers track team workload signals. Preferences for push and email live under Notification Settings linked from the same area.

Getting started

Click the bell in the header for the short list, then View all to open the full Notifications page. Use Inbox for the list and Settings when you need delivery preferences.

Understand the layout

The page shows filters for search, category, and date range, then a scrollable list of cards with title, message, time, and actions. When you select one or more rows, a bar may offer Mark as read, Mark as unread, and Delete selected.

Work with notifications

Open a row to read details and follow the link to the related item when the product provides one. Use bulk actions carefully; deletion cannot always be undone. Filters help you focus on ACTIONS, EVENTS, INSPECTIONS, or VERIFICATIONS categories your build lists.

Notification settings

Switch to Settings to change push and email toggles per type. See the Email notifications help article for mail-specific behaviour.

Best practices

Clear old noise periodically. Enable only the channels you read. Keep actions linked from notifications so context stays clear.

Troubleshooting

Why is the bell missing?
You may lack Notifications access. Ask your administrator.

Why do filters show no rows?
Your date range may be too narrow, or category filters may exclude everything. Clear filters and try again.

Why can I not delete?
Policy may block deletion for some types. Read any message on screen.
