Complete a critical control verification from draft to submit

Written by Aurora

Overview

Verifications lets eligible users run published verification forms, save draft responses, and submit so the platform can evaluate compliance and raise actions when findings fail. This journey follows Part 1: open the module, pick a form, fill sections with the stepper, save automatically, then submit.

Role

In this flow

Field verifiers

Execute assigned forms on time.

Supervisors

Review metrics tiles before drilling into responses.

Content administrators

Publish forms elsewhere; this article is for filling them.

You need access on the Verifications feature set. Forms respect company, location, and job role assignments; only published forms appear in the grid.

Before you begin

  • Open Critical Control Verifications from the main navigation (label may match your tenant locale).

  • Confirm you see the metrics tiles (Completed, Compliant, Non-Compliant, Open Actions) and the forms grid.

  • If you need a saved draft, look for the Continue Draft indicator on the matching card.

Walk through the flow

Start or resume a form

  1. Browse the forms grid for the verification you must run.

  2. Click Fill Form when no draft exists, or Continue Draft when you already started.

  3. Wait for the editor to load the response the system creates or resumes for you.

Move through sections with the stepper

  1. Use the Form Stepper (or equivalent progress control) to move between sections.

  2. Answer questions, embedded checklists, file uploads, and read info blocks as the template requires.

  3. Respect validation: required fields must be complete before the UI allows the Next step when that rule applies.

  4. Rely on automatic draft saves while you work; only you can edit your draft.

Submit for compliance evaluation

  1. When every required field and section is complete, review answers on the final step.

  2. Click Submit (or the primary completion control your form uses).

  3. Confirm the response status moves from DRAFT to PUBLISHED and note any compliance badge the summary shows.

  4. Read the summary of actions if the guide states that non-compliant findings generated tasks.

What happens next

  • Compliance evaluation runs per the guide; Compliant, Non-Compliant, Pending, or Not Configured badges explain the outcome.

  • Open Actions counts update when remediation work is still outstanding.

Notes

IMPORTANT: Submitting may be irreversible for that response version; confirm answers before you submit.

If no forms appear, verify assignments and that the template is published. Map view requires Google Maps configuration from your administrator.
