The Forwood One Taxonomy capability allows organisations to create, manage, and maintain contractor companies and commercial contracts directly within the platform.

This guide explains how contractor companies and contracts work within Forwood One, how relationships can be managed, and how organisations can maintain contractor and contract structures over time.

Understanding Contractors & Contracts in Forwood One

Forwood One allows organisations to create and manage:

  • Contractor companies

  • Commercial contracts

  • Contractor and contract hierarchies

  • Contractor-to-contract and user relationships

This helps organisations:

  • Improve operational visibility

  • Manage contractor accountability

  • Support permission scoping

  • Align contractors to operational activities

  • Improve governance and compliance oversight

Managing Contractor Companies

Contractor companies can be created and managed within the Forwood ID Teams application.

Organisations can:

  • Create contractor companies manually

  • Import contractor structures in bulk

  • Create parent-child contractor relationships

  • Maintain contractor hierarchies over time

  • View contractor companies in Forwood One

  • Manage contractor to contract relationships in Forwood One

Commercial contracts can also be managed directly within the Forwood One taxonomy module.
