Setting Up Your Module Forms

Written by Jessica Serena

The Forwood One Form Builder allows organisations to create and manage forms used across operational modules, including verifications and inspections.

The Form Builder is designed to provide organisations with a flexible and intuitive way to create operational forms using drag-and-drop functionality, while ensuring a consistent user experience across the platform.

This guide explains how Form Builder works within Forwood One, how forms are created and managed, and how organisations can maintain forms over time.

Understanding Form Builder

Form Builder enables organisations to create and manage forms for use across multiple feature sets within Forwood One.

Forms created within Form Builder are used by end users to complete operational activities. The platform supports drag-and-drop form creation with configurable sections, questions, checklists, uploads, and other components.

Mapping Operational Forms

Before building forms within Forwood One, organisations should first determine what forms end users need to complete within each of their available module(s).

This helps ensure forms align to operational processes and user requirements.

Building Forms

Forms are created directly within the Form Builder interface.

Organisations can:

  • Build forms per module

  • Configure sections and question structures

  • Configure required responses

  • Add attachments and uploads

  • Configure assignment rules

The drag-and-drop experience allows organisations to quickly build operational forms without requiring technical configuration.

Previewing & Publishing Forms

Before publishing, forms can be previewed in both desktop and mobile views.

This allows organisations to:

  • Validate the end-user experience

  • Confirm operational usability

  • Review layouts and workflows

  • Test field interactions

Once approved, forms can be published and made available to operational users.

Maintaining Forms Over Time

Forms can be continuously managed and improved over time.

Organisations can:

  • Update existing forms

  • Create new forms

  • Duplicate forms for versioning

  • Modify operational questions

  • Improve workflows

  • Align forms to operational changes

This allows organisations to continuously evolve operational processes and field verification activities.

Governance & Change Management

Governance mechanisms are built into Form Builder to support controlled and auditable form management.
